Just Fantastic I popped in for lunch today with a chum whilst we were on a day out doing a bit of photography. We were warmly greeted... read moreI popped in for lunch today with a chum whilst we were on a day out doing a bit of photography. We were warmly greeted by the very friendly young lady behind the bar, and made our way to the restaurant (go through the door that's in the corner of the bar).

I ordered scampi and my chum ordered ham, egg and chips, we choose a table, sat down and in no time at all the food was presented.....oh my goodness... My scampi was just amazing, crispy yet soft and juicy inside, the best I've had in ages, great big fluffy chips and Petit Pois. My chums ham was more like a gammon steak it was that thick, he loved it btw.

I'd highly recommend this hidden treasure if you are in the area, I shall be returning with my wife.... read less
