Our Skittle Alley offers seating in the stalls – where the horses were kept when the pub was a coaching stop – and is heated by our fabulous Eco-burner. There are many places to walk and take in the fantastic scenery, whether its up the Quantock Hills or down through the country villages, you can always rest your feet, have a refreshing real ale or even stay overnight in one of our 6 comfortable rooms perfectly suited for long or short-term accommodation.
The business is owned by husband and wife team, Iain and Emma Kirkpatrick, who have been part of The Carew now for almost nine years. We are extremely lucky to have Jamie Brooks as our chef. Jamie has a fantastic reputation, having worked both internationally and locally, and was born in Crowcombe – a true local! Our bar staff and wait staff are all committed to provided a great level of service, with a smile.
